Mr C.T. Siew and Mr Narendren Rengasamy attended the CIE Hong Kong lighting symposium on 18th October 2013 at Shangri-La Hotel, Kowloon, Hong Kong. They were present to actively lobby for participants to attend the 2014 Conference and Divisional/Technical Meetings in Kuala Lumpur in April 2014. The symposium provides a platform at which lighting experts and industry participants met with interested parties to discuss key issues and new trends in lighting technology. The event highlighted new directions in lighting for commercial and public applications, both locally and globally and seeks to elevate public awareness of the importance of lighting quality.
Speakers were international renowned lighting experts. The keynote speech “Health Lighting and Innovative Applications of LEDs on Human Habitat” of the symposium was delivered by Mr Luoxi Hao, China Illuminating Engineering Society.
