The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) together with IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd (Thailand) and MEX Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd (India) organised the “Malaysia LED & Energy Saving Industry Forum” on 9th December 2015 at JW Marriott Hotel, Jalan Bukit Bintang, KL. The forum has brought together all key players from the LED industry and Energy Saving industry to exchange views and educate on the outlook and opportunities of Malaysia and Thailand Sectors.
In fact, this forum is a part of LED Expo & Energy Saving Week 2016’s regional marketing activities and serves as the prelude for the Expo during 19th – 22nd April 2016. Mr Lim Sai Seong, MyCIE Treasurer participated as a speaker in a panel discussion on the topic of “The Outlook of South East Asia’s LED & Energy Saving Sectors” (Balancing the supply and demand to meet energy requirements and make efficient businesses). Besides Mr SS Lim, other speakers were Mr. Sathit Sukanant, Director of Demand Side Implementation Division, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand; Mr. Zukiflee Umar, head of Demand Side Marketing Division, EnergyCommission Malaysia and Mr. Aaron Ho Lumz, Sales & Marketing Manager, Day Brite Industrial Manufacturing Sdn Bhd. It was an interactive forum and a fruitful event for all who were present.
